Fabric 60 by Dave Clarke

“The most shocking thing about this mix from legendary techno DJ/producer Dave Clarke is that it’s his first for Fabric. So was it worth the wait? Certainly, it shows Clarke at his defiant best, effortlessly joining the dots between sci-fi electro and intense, darkroom techno with a smattering of sublime Detroitian moments thrown in.” — juno.co.uk

Customize your Mac OS X dock

Mac OS X Dock

Although the Mac OS X default look is clean and polished, sometimes I feel that it could be better. Fortunately, there are several ways to customize and refine your OS X appearance, including the dock.

IconPaper has a beautiful gallery of dock themes, icons, wallpapers and other tweaks for your Mac. You can find some great stuff at DeviantART too.

To change the theme and icons of the Mac OS X dock, you will need CandyBar or IconBox. To add spaces to separate groups of applications in the dock, you can use the free application SuperDocker.

The dock theme used in the above picture is Obsidian, one of my favorites.

Brazilian duo Glocal presents Ghost City, a technical melancholiac look to the ruins of Detroit city.

“Industrial capital of the XXth Century, Detroit played a fundamental role shaping the modern world. The logic that created the city also destroyed it. Nowadays, unlike anywhere else, the city’s ruins are not isolated details in the urban environment.”
