by Michael Mayer
Fabric 13, mixed by Michael Mayer and released in 2003, tells a delightful story using a sublime selection of tracks, from classic house to tech/acid house. The artist describes his work in the following manner:
“This doesn’t really represent a club set: I prefer mix CDs to use personal records that tell you a story. DJing for me is not about impressing people with technical skills. My aim is to tell a story by using tracks like sentences spoken one after the other. It’s a sequence or a narrative. The only thing I pre-determine is that I play 4/4. The rest happens by accident. I love to warm up and take my time to get in to it, to take people with me. At the end I love to play songs and some things you can whistle on the way home.”

by Doc Martin
The 10th volume of the famous Fabric series, mixed by Doc Martin and released in 2003, is “a late night blend of basement shaking vibes”.
I consider this the best part of the mix. It starts with the minimal and hypnotic Return Of The Ghost remix of the classic Stucco Homes, by Brett Johnson and Dave Barker. Following seamlessly comes the delightful Just Us, by Sublevel. Next, one of my favorites tracks ever, the acid Highlights from DJ Buck - a dancefloor killer.

album Brazilian Gigolo mixed by Renato Ratier
This track is very unique. It mixes techno and electro in a very deep, futuristic, hi-tech fashion.
It was released as part of the Brazilian Gigolo album, mixed by Renato Ratier and published under the International Deejay Gigolo Records label.
The track was also featured as soundtrack of the D-EDGE club website, a few years ago.

by Brian Eno
album Drums Between the Bells
Glitch is the featured track of Brian Eno’s forthcoming album, Drums Between the Bells, to be released on Warp Records.
I really enjoy its esoteric and technologic atmosphere.
